Women's

Völkl

90Eight W

Völkl 90Eight W

  • Radius: 15.9m
  • Waist: 98mm
  • Rocker: Tip/Tail
  • Demo: N/A

This is one of those skis that forced its way into our range, and award table, on the back of some amazing feedback. Our female skiers loved this ski! Words like ‘smooth’ and ‘effortless’ filled the report cards, and it was obvious watching that the testers were connecting with the ski in a very positive way!

The 90Eight had our testers grinning from ear-to-ear. Tip and tail rocker is combined with a 98mm waist and a quality construction of Multi Layer Woodcore, full sidewalls, carbon stringers and 3D Ridge shaping. The result is smooth handling, effortless float and supreme stability from a surprisingly easy to use ski. If you want a versatile freeride model that will give you the confidence to attack all terrain, then look no further.

Tester’s comment

Florrie (Manchester) "From the top of the mountain to the bottom it was great! Coped well on hard packed snow, then really came to life in the soft slushy off-piste."

Tester’s comment

Andi (Bristol) "I absolutely loved it. Powerful yet playful with a heap of performance to tackle any terrain in any condition and it looks great too!"

Men's

Head

Kore 93

Head Kore 93

  • Radius: 16.4m
  • Waist: 93mm
  • Rocker: Tip/ Tail
  • Demo: Available

This wasn’t an easy decision. It’s an especially tough category with many worthy winners, including the wider versions of this model, but we just couldn’t ignore the depth of positive feedback, from staff and from customers. It’s lightness and response worked perfectly with the huge balance sweet spot, making it ideal for a variety of terrain and skiers.

The Kore 93 gives you the enthusiasm to push your limits and explore the whole mountain. On piste, its light thanks to innovative new design including Topless Tech laminate, Graphene and Koroyd, but without ever losing the surefootedness that other light skis can lack. The 93mm waist delivers precise handling on groomers and impressive floatation when you get the chance to venture into deep snow.

Tester’s comment

Tristan (Mail Order) "I love how light and nimble they were and how they glided over choppy terrain. It's a great freeride ski that is versatile and adapts to most conditions well. It's a new personal favourite."

Nordica Enforcer 100

Imagine a ski that just smashes through the crud and chop at the side of the piste like a knife through butter, flows effortlessly through powder and can rip long carves like a top end piste ski. Cue the Enforcer 100. Thanks to its no-nonsense construction and progressive shape, the performance had us grinning from ear-to-ear. This ski really does hit the sweet spot when it comes to all condition skiing.
