HISTORY

Andy Knight first tried paddling in a kayak he built himself. It was only a matter of time before his education in engineering and expertise as a paddling champion led to ideas of how paddling gear could be improved. Palm Equipment continues today Andy’s dedication to gear for paddlers.

Palm buoyancy aids are renowned for their fit. Easy front zip entry with a unique 3D safety waist belt, which stays low, allowing the contoured foam floatation to wrap around your torso, so you can move freely whilst giving a nice secure and safe hug.

LIMESTONE NEOPRENE - A SMALLER FOOTPRINT

Palm NeoFlex is your second skin in the water – thin, soft and stretchy 0.5 mm neoprene lets you move freely, keeping you comfortable and warm whether wet or dry. Made from limestone neoprene rather than traditional oil based neoprene, generating 24% less CO2 in its manufacture. Water based glue is used to bond the face fabric to the neoprene and the black colour pigment is made from recycled car tyres.
