As we move towards the end of summer, anticipation for winter starts to creep in and bring back fond memories of last season’s skiing. Accelerating that impatience to get back on the slopes is a whole roster of ski movie trailers that feature some of the best skiers in the world, tackling amazing terrain across the globe.

Here are five of our favourite ski movies that are bound to get you excited for the coming winter.

Winterland

Teton Gravity presents their latest instalment of big mountain, freeride skiing ‘Winterland’. In this film they mix it up with a hint of snowboarding and some urban rails but certainly indulge you with backcountry skiing of the highest calibre.


Return To Sender

‘Return To Sender’ follows four legendary skiers and a collection of their friends as the they “Fricking Send It!” off some of the biggest and badness mountains around. Catch this Film on the big screen as it tours the UK.


Dream Job

This Revelstoke based documentary features Katie Burrell (a stand-up comedian and prominent figure within the ski industry) attempting to keep up with three pioneering women who have contributed to the world of skiing.

Expect lots of lols and some high-quality skiing that makes you want to get out there an give-er some.

 


Romance

This film is at the cutting edge of progression in urban, freestyle and big mountain skiing with mesmerising tricks being thrown down in every clip. It also features some achieve footage from previous Level 1 films as a homage to what they have achieved over the last two decades.


The Collective

Faction and Red Bull Media team up showcase the exploits of the Faction team as they adventure to undiscovered peaks, carry out midnight missions to inner-city handrails and lap their home resorts.
