This latest version of a perennial best-seller features an upgraded liner and GripWalk soles. The Prolite constructed Hawx Prime 95 W appeals equally to intermediate and advanced skiers. Prolite means a lighter and more sensitive model without any loss of power or control. The flex is supportive but never overbearing, making it ideal for cruising as well as faster, more technical skiing. Comfort comes from a variety of sources including the tried-and-tested stance that puts skiers in exactly the right position to feel relaxed but also to have good control. The Energy Backbone enhances transmission for better grip. When skiing, the boot is responsive and precise, but also light and balanced. This is thanks to the rigid chassis that provides the power and a soft plastic that wraps around the foot. This performance is brought to life by the exceptional fit and the amount of personalisation. The Memory Fit shell is heated and moulded during the fitting, adding up to an extra 6mm of space where needed, the liner has been upgraded to the 3D Mimic Gold and can be impressively customised too, adding an extra level of comfort.

Shell
PU Memory Fit shell and cuff, mouldable. The advanced heat fitting technology of Memory Fit creates a fully personalised shell and cuff in minutes. The key is Memolink, a special additive that improves the mouldability and stretch characteristics of the plastic. The boot shell is heated in an oven, then the skier's foot is placed inside the complete boot whilst it cools. With the foot's natural standing pressure, the forefoot of the boot can expand up to 3mm per side and the ankle area up to 5mm per side.
Liner
3D Mimic Gold W 3M Thinsulate, mouldable. Atomic's unique Mimic liners use a layer of supportive thermoformable material in the heel, ankle and tongue areas. After being softened in an oven, this material mimics the precise shape of your foot, and hardens in that shape for a perfect custom fit. 3D means pre-shaped heel and ankles areas for better foot hold and comfort. 3D Stretch Toe Box makes sure the toes have a bit more space in the liner when needed. Thinsulate is the world's best-known insulation and its use keeps feet warmer. In addition there is heat mouldable foam in the tongue and ankle area that can be formed to the foot at the same time as the Mimic material.

The more air a material traps in a given space the greater its insulating value. The microfibres in 3M Thinsulate insulation are far finer than any other fibres, which means they trap more insulating air in less space, even when wet. This keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions.
