Nordica have brought the rear entry boot back with a bang, the comfy fitting HF 85 W totally takes the hassle out of owning ski boots. With only one buckle for opening and closure, the Back Buckle Closure System uses a hands-free design that swiftly opens the rear of the boot so you’ll be the first one ready to ski in the morning and when you’re done for the day, you’ll be back out of your boots in no time at all. A simple yet effective ratchet strap over the instep provides a closer fit and the HF 3D Cork Fit W PrimaLoft liner uses some tricks borrowed from top-end liners to make the foot comfortable yet supported. These include a pre-formed ankle area which is lined with cork to provide foot hold and can be heat moulded for the best fit, there’s also Primaloft insulation for warmer, drier feet. Further customisation is available with Nordica’s signature Infrared technology which means boots can be easily heated in specific areas to add shape where needed. This is the perfect blend of tried and trusted design with new technology, bringing together comfort, control and ease of use.

HF Buckle Closure and Easy Entry
HF means Hands Free. Light, good looking, but especially sleek and well designed. The Monolock buckle has never been so intuitive, it's just a matter of pushing it down with your foot and you are done. At the end of your day, you can use your pole to open the back buckle while you remain standing. The Easy Closure creates a huge 40degree opening to ensure it is hassle-free slipping your foot in and out – especially useful for skiers with limited ankle movement.
Double Axis Pivot
The cuff and the shell of the new HF are specially designed to provide the perfect closure between the cuff parts and the shell. The alignment between the 2 provides unmatched lateral support for immediate ski response. This means easier turns, more stability, perfect control and more fun.
IVC Instep Volume Control
An adjustable wedge is integrated into the footboard of the boot, when it is flipped into position it increases the height of board by 4mm to remove any excess space over the instep, improving foot hold and comfort, decreasing the need to over-tighten.
