Osprey’s Tempest Pro 40 is a women’s specific pack offering strength, versatility, and multi-sport performance. A technical 40-litre model, it’s ideal for minimalist backpacking and long alpine days.
The top-loading design and removable, extendable lid let you max out the pack for gear-intensive activities or strip weight when travelling fast and light. Features include a front stash pocket, stretch side pockets, and an internal hydration reservoir sleeve. Tuck-away ice axe attachments and removable accessory straps enhance your carry options. Use the side compression straps to reduce bulk and keep the load stable.
Osprey’s AirScape back panel with a BioStretch harness and hip belt provides a supportive, close-to-body fit. The adjustable sliding torso length system lets you further dial in the fit. Spacermesh wrapped over die-cut foam gives a breathable, comfortable contact surface; ventilation airflow channels keep you cool on warm, active days. Built using Osprey’s NanoFly fabric reinforced with UHMWPE ripstop, it offers outstanding strength and durability for extensive use.

If items in your basket need to be sourced from a shop, they will be dispatched in 7 working days. This delivery option is always free.
UK Delivery Times
You’ll receive items dispatched from our warehouse within 2 working days. If we have to source the item(s) from one of our shops, delivery will take up to 5 working days.

Spend over £80 to get FREE delivery to standard UK addresses (including Scottish Islands/Highlands).
Free delivery is available for all orders sent with economy delivery.
In the UK we use DPD Local and Royal Mail to deliver our parcels. If your parcel is small and of low value, we will send it via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Other items will be sent via DPD Local. Physical Gift Vouchers are sent with Royal Mail 1st Class. We will send you an email once we have packed your order. Further tracking information will be sent directly from the courier.

If your address is in a VAT free area, e.g. Channel Islands, VAT will be removed from your order total before payment is made.

Free Click and Collect In-store
Free Click and Collect is available for all products on the website. At checkout, select Click and Collect as your delivery option. Then, choose the most convenient store to collect your order from.
You will receive an email to confirm your order. You will get a second message when your order is ready to collect.
Items in stock at your chosen store should be available within 24 hours of ordering. If we need to take items from another store or warehouse, it will take between 2 and 5 working days before they are available to collect.
International Delivery
Delivery timeframes for non-UK delivery vary depending on location, and take between 2 – 9 days. Similarly, non UK delivery charges start at £13 for Europe and go up to £30 for Southern hemisphere regions. For more detailed information please visit our international delivery page. Please note that the prices we quote on this page are for standard deliveries, i.e. parcel weight and size restrictions apply. For non-standard deliveries, e.g. skis and snowboards, our customer service team will contact you once you’ve placed the order to discuss any additional payment required.
Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the goods, and we will issue a refund within 7 working days of the goods being sent back to us. When you receive your order there will be a returns form inside, so please complete this and send back with the returned goods. Return postage must be paid by the customer for unwanted goods, and we offer a variety of ways for you to make a return e.g. taking to one of our stores free of charge, or Post Office drop off for £2.50.
