Nordica’s Enforcer 99 embodies everything an all-mountain ski should be – and perfects it. Incredibly playful and versatile, it’s at home in any terrain and all conditions. For a remarkably smooth and powerful ride, the Enforcer 99 features a fresh construction that embeds both a wood core and an elastomer Pulse core between two layers of Titanal. Combined with a wider waist, this construction maximizes control and response while also excelling in softer snow. This ski inherits the legendary performance of the Enforcer collection – and then builds upon it to amplify your confidence. Ski everything with ease on Nordica’s Enforcer 99.
Terrain Type & Ability Level
Terrain Type
Anything and anywhere, could be blasting down fresh groomed pistes or smashing through skied-out old snow at top speed, the Enforcer 99 is a versatile ski. Its width ensures plenty of float on fresh snow days, and the shape means easy handling when the conditions or terrain are tricky. The construction guarantees grip and power; the tech makes it more playful and even more responsive than earlier versions.
Skier Type
Confident all mountain skiers who want a wider ski for stability and float when they get away from the pistes, whilst still spending time clocking miles on marked runs too. It’ll pair up super-well with a hybrid tour binding like a Shift, Kingpin or Duke PT for getting further away from the lifts.
Overview
Shape
It’s 99mm underfoot and, with the firm construction, this kind of dimension will plough through anything, no matter how cut up or heavy the conditions. The all new shape takes a few mm off the tip and tail whilst keeping the sidecut extending past the rocker point, making the ski easy to turn at slower speeds and brings the full sidecut in to use when the ski is angled more aggressively. The Unlocked Tail adds a new level of smoothness by increasing the rocker, creating handling in untracked snow. The radius has been slightly lengthened to 18m in the 179 to boost stability, yet it still it feels quick in a carve and it loves a run down firm snow as much as soft.
Rocker
All Mountain Rocker uses a split of rocker/camber/rocker across the tip, main body and tail of the ski. This gives effortless handling in all conditions as the rocker in the tip aids float and initiation, the camber provides grip and bite on firmer snow, and the tail rocker allows for easy turn release and control in tricky snow. The latest version of this has increased the tail rocker, referred to as the Unlocked Tail, for more control and a smoother ride.
Core
The powerful Energy 2 Ti core uses a full wood core with 2 Titanal sheets and an elastomer Pulse layer in between them. The metal dampens vibrations and improves stability, the wood adds energy and response, and the elastomer layer dampens vibrations to ensure a smooth, powerful ride.
Construction
Sidewalls offer the best in energy transmission and edge grip.
Key Features
Unlocked Tail
The new tail rocker takes its design from the original 104, which used more rocker at the tail than the rest of the Enforcer line. By adapting this to the rest of the range, Nordica have introduced more control, made the ski smoother and increased the playful feel, all without losing the power that these skis are known for.
