Go Race Go Freestyle
Snowsport England recently launched their "Go Race Go Freestyle" sessions, which are running at both indoor and artificial slopes across the UK.
After last year's "Go Ski Go Board" sessions where over 10,000 people made their way out onto their local slopes, "Go Race Go Freestyle" will give people the chance to get more involved in snowsports and try out different disciplines within skiing and snowboarding.
Whatever level you're at, take part in one of the sessions below and get involved in some of the most exciting snowsports. Tuition provided by the best professional coaches will give you the opportunity to learn the basics and quickly progress your skiing and snowboarding.
The sessions are broken down into different categories based on your ability level.
A "Try Freestyle" session will give skiers and snowboarders a chance to hit the park for the first time and get to grips with the basic elements of freestyle riding.
Whilst a "Go Freestyle" session is aimed at skiers and boarders looking to progress their freestyle skills by learning new tricks on kickers and rails. Throughout both of the sessions, freestyle coaches will be on-hand to provide essential tuition and pointers.
Alongside the freestyle sessions, Snowsports England’s "Try Race" sessions introduces skiers to the thrills of ski racing through gates against the clock.
Going beyond the introduction of ski racing, the "Go Race" sessions are geared towards skiers looking to learn the fundamental skills of ski racing.
Just Race & Just Freestyle
These sessions are all about regularly getting out skiing and snowboarding, ensuring you keep improving your skills, whilst making sure you’re always enjoying yourself. Because "having fun" is really what snowsports are all about.
