Adventure Running Trail Event

Adventure Running Trail Event
9 April 2017 No comments

This spring Ellis Brigham have teamed up with Matt Buck from Running Adventures to bring you the 10/20 - 2 days of guided trail running to encourage you to experience trail running for the first time or for those with plenty of miles under their belts - an opportunity to benefit from Matt's experience.

Matt is an ultra runner, adventure seeker and qualified running coach. He's been guiding people through challenge events for over 10 years, driven by his passion for anything involving the outdoors. As well as completing a number of ultra marathons and intense personal physical challenges, Matt's led groups on treks and cycles all around the world.

Our guided runs will take place in the Surrey hills and the Peak District and will include a 10k distance for anyone new to trail running and a 20k distance for those who are keen to explore new surroundings and run some more challenging terrain.

Experienced ultra runner and coach, Matt Buck from Running Adventures, will lead the way as we enjoy beautiful trails and leg-burning climbs. You don't need to worry about where you are going or the route we will take, it's all taken care of, all you need to do is concentrate on running, socialising and having fun.

NB: the runs are not a race and for the 10k runs you should be able to run a 9-10 minute mile. For the 20k runs you should have a good level of fitness and be able to run a 8-9min mile

Guided Trail Run Price: £7
Kit: A full kit list will be provided in advance along with exact location and full contact details for Matt and his team.
