Making a ski that has downhill performance but is lightweight for the uphill is not straightforward but with their technical knowledge and manufacturing experience, Elan are perfectly positioned to do it. The starting point was the award winning Ripstick freeride line which are already fairly light models, then working with existing innovations and tweaking them to reduce the weight even further. The result is the Ripstick Tour skis and the 94 is the bullseye model “ versatile, high-performing and easy to use. 94mm underfoot works in a variety of conditions and the mix of Carbon Bridge, Tubelite Woodcore and Amphibio Technology provides lightweight performance whatever the terrain or speed.

Terrain Type & Ability Level

Terrain Type
It™s an all rounder: smooth and flowing when the snow is fresh; responsive and precise when it gets firmer. You could take this ski anywhere and not be dissapointed thanks to it™s versatile shape and innovative technologies.

Skier Type
It™s a light ski but it doesn™t lack in performance so it can be pushed hard, yet the shape ensures it is never demanding to ski. Perfect for advanced and expert skiers wanting versatility.

Overview

Shape
94mm in the waist hits the sweet spot for a BC ski that has to work everywhere, wide enough to float in softer snow and narrow enough to remain nimble when things get tighter or fimer. The relatively long taper on the tip and tail give the ski comfortable handling whatever the conditions and create smooth turn initiation and release.

Rocker
Ripsticks use Amphibio technology, a revolutionary ski design that integrates both rocker and camber profiles into dedicated left and right skis. These skis feature a cambered inside edge assuring precision, edge grip and stability, while a rockered outside edge provides forgiveness, turning ease and smooth transitions.

Core
The Tubelite Woodcore uses a super lightweight carbon tube inserted into a lightweight laminated wood core. The tube runs the length of the ski and provides torsional stability and powerful rebound while allowing for material reduction of the core. The result is incredible lightweight response and stability.

Construction
The 360o Sidewall saves weight and ensures good power transfer and precision. Carbon is used in the layup as it™s lightweight, strong and provides additional support and reinforcement. Fibreglass reinforcement optimises the flex pattern and enhances torsional rigidity of the ski.

Key Features

Carbon Bridge Technology
Next level stability. Carbon Bridge Technology is a revolutionary solution where a single carbon rod placed on the upper part of the ski provides stability, dampening and vibration absorption through the tip.

Amphibio Profile
Amphibio technology is a revolutionary ski design that integrates both rocker and camber profiles into dedicated left and right skis. Amphibio skis feature a cambered inside edge assuring precision, edge grip and stability “ while a rockered outside edge provides forgiveness, turning ease and smooth transitions.

360o Sidewall
360o Sidewall is a unique and effective sidewall solution to maximise performance while keeping the weight low. Pyramidal shaped sidewall are positioned throughout the whole body of the ski, to increase vibration absorption and high-speed stability.
