Chris McCormick

Chris McCormick is a 23 year old slopestyle and big air skier from Glasgow, Scotland.

Picking up skiing at an early age, Chris spent his childhood learning to ski at his local dryslope, Bearsden Ski Club. With a natural talent for the sport, he has since gone on to compete at the highest level.

Competing at World Cups in both slopestyle and big air disciplines, some of his biggest achievements to date include a top 20 finish at the 2021 Corvatsch World Cup, becoming the 2018 British champion in both slopestyle and big air, and being crowned 2019 British University Big Air champion whilst studying physics at the University of Glasgow in 2019. 

Away from competition Chris explores other aspects of skiing, spending his time filming and exploring the backcountry. Chris's creative flair can be seen with the recent creation of Shed Boys, a YouTube series made in collaboration with his brother featuring some of the UK's top skiers and snowboarders hitting freestyle and park spots across Europe.
