The Armada Shift 10 takes all the best parts of the revolutionary Shift 13 to create lighter a lower DIN version that better suits lighter or less agressive skiers. It still blends the effeciency of the the best uphill bindings with the performance of an Alpine binding on the descent. The toe piece has the advantages of a pin binding allowing for convenient hiking but can be shifted to become a downhill model. A true a high-performance freeride option with certified DIN alpine heel and toes and full compatibility to all DIN ISO norm boots. It moves between the Alpine and Tour categories like nothing else out there.

Boot Compatibility
In Alpine mode it will accept boots with any DIN standard (Alpine ISO 5255, Tour ISO 9523, GripWalk 23223, WTR), this does exclude the lightest models of pin boot that fall outside of DIN Norms. To use the climbing function, a boot with pin inserts at the toe is required.
Skier Type
Freerider, Backcountry. With a lower DIN range, this 10 version of the Shift is ideal for lighter or less agressive skiers who still want a binding with proper alpine performance on the descent and for it still able to cope with ascents better than many tour specific models. The skiing will always be the priority but hiking for new experiences and better conditons is an important part of the day.

Climbing: If the 2° angle isn't enough then a simple flick of the climbing aid changes it to 10°.
