Now on it's fifth iteration this shoe was orginally developed for the very rough and tough Speedgoat 50k held each year in the Wastach Mountains, Utah. Race conditions are very dry (usually), very rocky and the route has a huge amount of elevation. While it's perfect for those conditions with it's plush cushioning and thick upper mesh which offers great foot protection,  it's also a capable performer on the majority of UK trails thanks to a grippy Vibram Megagrip outsole.
