The Scarpa Phantom 8000 HD Thermic is an industry leading, high-altitude B3 rated mountaineering boot. Made in collaboration with Nirmal Purja, choose for expeditions on 8000-metre peaks, arctic crossings, and extreme winter environments. It is the first mountaineering boot with an integrated thermal system. The Therm-ic 3D heated insole uses Thermo Transfer Technology to help you stay warm in the coldest places on earth.
The boot construction comprises a durable and protective outer boot, an insulated inner boot, and a removable liner boot. The external gaiter features a waterproof HDry membrane, abrasion-resistant PU Tek Technology, and PrimaLoft Gold insulation to seal in heat. It also has a 100% waterproof zip with an offset design for easier access while wearing gloves.
The inner boot contains WinTherm technology, which provides a secondary insulation layer. The Sock-Fit XT tongue combined with the Power Strap Lite Velcro strap and fast lock lace system makes it easy to get a precise fit with no pressure points. The removable liner boot features an adjustable side closure plus two pull tabs to aid donning. Inside, there are two insole options. You can use the OrthoLite O-Therm insole with Aerogel insulation or the Therm-ic 3D heated insole.
The Therm-ic 3D heated insole has three heat modes to adapt to your needs. The technology maintains optimal foot temperature, improving comfort and performance in sub-zero temperatures. A Therm-ic Slim Universal power bank powers the insole and is USB rechargeable. A power button at the top of the gaiter makes it easy to turn the insoles on or off.
The boot's base unit includes lateral and medial support for front pointing, step-kicking, and traversing. A Vibram 0 Gravity Lite outsole achieves superb traction for confidence in each step. A RECCO reflector makes the wearer more searchable, increasing safety in mountain environments.

Free delivery is available for all orders sent with economy delivery.
In the UK we use DPD Local and Royal Mail to deliver our parcels. If your parcel is small and of low value, we will send it via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Other items will be sent via DPD Local. Physical Gift Vouchers are sent with Royal Mail 1st Class. We will send you an email once we have packed your order. Further tracking information will be sent directly from the courier.

Free Click and Collect In-store
Free Click and Collect is available for all products on the website. At checkout, select Click and Collect as your delivery option. Then, choose the most convenient store to collect your order from.
You will receive an email to confirm your order. You will get a second message when your order is ready to collect.
Items in stock at your chosen store should be available within 24 hours of ordering. If we need to take items from another store or warehouse, it will take between 2 and 5 working days before they are available to collect.
International Delivery
Delivery timeframes for non-UK delivery vary depending on location, and take between 2 – 9 days. Similarly, non UK delivery charges start at £13 for Europe and go up to £30 for Southern hemisphere regions. For more detailed information please visit our international delivery page. Please note that the prices we quote on this page are for standard deliveries, i.e. parcel weight and size restrictions apply. Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the goods, and we will issue a refund within 7 working days of the goods being sent back to us. When you receive your order there will be a returns form inside, so please complete this and send back with the returned goods. Return postage must be paid by the customer for unwanted goods, and we offer a variety of ways for you to make a return e.g. taking to one of our stores free of charge, or Post Office drop off for £2.50.
