Petzl's Sum'Tec Adze is a modular ice axe designed for technical mountaineering. It features Petzl's Ice pick, which tapers to 3mm for bomber placements in ice, turf, and mixed terrain. The shaft curves for efficient anchoring but is straight enough for planting into snow and comfortable walking.
