Mountain Equipment's Women's G2 Mountain Pants are tough softshell trousers for winter climbing, mountaineering, and cold days when full waterproofs are more than you need. Exolite XP fabric gives wind resistance, weather protection, and plenty of stretch and articulation, so they move naturally through steep ground and awkward steps.

Exolite XP fabric

The softshell Exolite XP fabric keeps bitter winds and the odd shower off and stretches as you move.

Removable braces

The adjustable braces cross at the rear for a comfortable and supportive fit; you can remove them when not needed.

Zipped thigh vents

Zipped thigh vents help you release excess heat and regulate temperature without needing to remove layers. An internal mesh gusset stops them opening too wide.

Reinforced insteps

Reinforced instep patches protect against scuffs, abrasion, and scratches.

Internal gaiter

The removable elasticated internal gaiter stops snow and loose debris from building up around your ankle and getting into your boot.
