Mountain Equipment designed the Women's Baltoro Down Jacket for winter climbing and mountaineering. A superb mid-weight insulator, the 700-fill down insulation is held securely in a dual layer offset baffle construction that prevents cold spots. An internal heat reflective scrim boosts thermal efficiency for an impressive warmth-to-weight ratio.

Features

700 fill down insulation

700 fill down insulation is light, compressible, and achieves a great warmth-to-weight ratio. Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified, strict animal welfare and supply chain traceability conditions have been met.

Helmet compatible Mountain hood

The insulated Mountain hood is sized to accommodate a climbing helmet. Adjusters at the front and rear lock down the fit when worn without one.

Two-way front zip

Undo the two-way front zip from the bottom to increase ventilation, provide clear access to your harness belay loop, or improve comfort when you sit down.

Internal drop pocket

An internal drop pocket makes a great place to store things quickly and keep them close to the body, such as gloves.

Dual tether hem drawcords

The dual tether drawcords offer simple hem adjustment. With split ends, the design means the elastic can't catch against jagged rocks or your crampon points when crouched down.

Stowable

The jacket stows into a stuff sack, which keeps it protected while ensuring a small pack size.
