Mountain Equipment's Men's Baltoro Down Jacket is a midweight insulated jacket that punches above its weight whether you're climbing or skiing. With 700 fill down, a heat-reflective lining, and unique double-layer offset baffle construction, you get more effective insulation without extra bulk. Thought-out features make things a little easier when you're in steep terrain.

700 fill down insulation

700 fill down insulation is light, compressible, and achieves a great warmth-to-weight ratio. Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified, strict animal welfare and supply chain traceability conditions have been met.

Helmet compatible Mountain HC hood 

The Mountain HC hood, sized to accommodate a helmet, can be adjusted at the rear and cinched around the face to stop it from moving in windy conditions.

Two-way front zip

You can unzip the jacket from the bottom to increase ventilation, provide clear access to your harness belay loop, or improve comfort when you sit down.

Internal drop pocket

A roomy internal mesh drop pocket is ideal for stashing things quickly and keeping them warm, such as gloves or climbing shoes.

Dual-tether hem drawcords

The dual-tether drawcords offer simple hem adjustment. With split ends, the design means the elastic can't catch against jagged rocks or your crampon points when crouched down.

Stowable

The jacket stows into its internal pocket for convenient packing.
