Blue Ice's Firecrest 38-litre backpack is a versatile workhorse for ambitious alpine missions. Features include ice axe holders, a removable avalanche tool pocket, and a ski carry system. The removable carabiner strap can also be used to attach the pack to an anchor, taking the load off on a long belay.

Features

Harness pockets

The harness features a secure zipped pocket and an open stretch pocket with a drawcord closure. Use to keep your phone, snacks, or a soft flask within easy reach.

Avalanche tool section

Inside the main compartment is a removable padded organiser designed to keep your shovel blade, handle, and probe easily accessible.

Side panel access

Use the side panel zip for quick access to the main compartment. It makes it easy to stash and retrieve essential gear.

Ski carry

Carry skis diagonally using the carabiner connected to the left shoulder strap and the lower right reinforced ski loop, or in A-frame configuration using the side compression straps.

Ice axe attachment

Carry ice tools securely with Blue Ice's axe attachments. Thread the clip through the hole in the head of your ice axe; upper bungee tie-offs keep the handle in place, and a pick slot stops rattling.
