The North Face designed the Basin 36 pack to hold everything you need for a day on the trail. An all-season performer, the 36-litre capacity ensures there’s room for layers, a first aid kit, and other hiking essentials. Supplied with a rain cover, it attaches to specific points for a precise fit.

Features

NextVent back system

The North Face's NextVent back system sits flat against the body for a close and stable fit. The contoured back panel and shoulder straps use breathable mesh for comfort.

Padded hip belt

The hip belt provides a stable carry and helps reduce the load going through the shoulders. Zipped pockets on each side offer easy-access storage - ideal for snacks.

Laptop & hydration bladder compatible

The internal sleeve can fit a laptop. On day hikes, you can use it to hold a hydration bladder – there's a hole in the top centre to route the hose through.

Front stash pocket

Use the front stash pocket for gear you want to be able to retrieve quickly – like a map or waterproof jacket. The daisy chain webbing offers additional lash points.

Pole attachment

To attach poles to the pack, place the tips through the lower webbing loop, then secure them at the top using the adjustable bungee cord.

Raincover

Essential wet-weather protection. The raincover connects to top and side cord loops, covers the main section of the pack, and stows into a pocket at the base.
