Overview

Ortovox designed the Cross Rider 22 backpack for freeriding and ski touring. Lightweight and versatile with a 22-litre capacity, it is ideal for carrying your mountain essentials. The main compartment opens from the front and back for quick and easy access. Inside, there's a hydration bladder sleeve and section to stow a shovel and probe.

Back panel entry

Front and rear zip access to the main compartment lets you get to your gear without needing to remove items off the front of the pack.

Avalanche tool section

Keep avalanche safety kit like your shovel and probe organised using the front section inside the main compartment.

A-frame ski carry

Use the side compression straps to carry your skis in an A-frame configuration.

Diagonal ski carry

Carry skis in a diagonal position on the front, using the stowable straps on the top left and bottom right of the pack.

Vertical snowboard carry

You can adjust the side compression straps to run across the front of the pack, providing a secure snowboard or snowshoe attachment in a vertical carry position.

Integrated helmet net

Stowing into a zipped pocket at the base, you can connect the net to the front of the pack for quick-access helmet storage.
