Mountain Equipment's Aerofoil is a minimalist hooded windshell jacket that has just what you need, and nothing extra. The Exolite 45 fabric keeps the wind off, whether you're running, climbing, or hiking. Its hood is elasticated and can be cinched around the crown when it's blustery. When you don't need it, it stows into the collar.
