Overview

Mountain Equipment developed the Women's Kryos Down Jacket for alpinists climbing at the cutting edge. Mountain Equipment's Firestorm construction uses a GORE Windstopper drop outer shell and 800 fill Down Codex goose down insulation. A combination of pleated and stitch-through baffles optimises the down's performance and reduces cold spots.

WINDSTOPPER technology by GORE-TEX LABS ensures this jacket is completely windproof, impressively breathable, and water-resistant.

Super Alpine HC (helmet compatible) hood

The insulated hood, sized to accommodate a climbing helmet, can be adjusted at the rear, and cinched around the face for visibility and to stop it from moving in windy conditions.

Two-way front zip

You can unzip the jacket from the bottom for clear access to your harness belay loop. A baffle behind the zip helps trap heat and block draughts.

Internal pockets

Roomy internal pockets make a great place to stash things quickly and keep them warm and dry, such as gloves.

Hem drawcord

The hem drawcord allows you to seal in warmth and improve the fit of your jacket.

Stowable

The jacket stows into the included stuff sack for convenient packing.
