The Bent 100 has a slight tweak for the 2024.25 season, and we’re lucky enough to have some on early release at Ellis Brigham. They retain their status as a playful all-mountain ski that anyone can jump on and have a blast, it's the main reason we loved them on test, all our testers came back with big smiles after a run on them. They’ve now tweaked the HRZN Tip to make the new Bent HRZN 3D, which sees the base bevel wrap the whole way around the tip, amplifying the forgiving surfy handling in soft snow. At 100mm they're stable in soft snow, but not too wide to really enjoy hard snow conditions, making them the perfect choice for decent skiers who will happily spend a day carving groomed runs, but also hunt out powdery conditions if the conditions are right and everything in between too.
Terrain Type & Ability Level
Terrain Type
Built to tackle anything the mountain has to offer on any day. They are super versatile and are happy jumping in and out of deeper conditions, playing on piste or having a run through the park.
Skier Type
Ideal for intermediate to advanced all mountain skiers looking for something that is versatile to pack in the ski bag, without worrying that they've packed the right ski for the conditions.
Overview
Shape
100mm is the perfect choice for all mountain skiing, with a width that is ideal for both jumping from on piste and into powder. It has an 18m radius (172cm) that provides stability in choppy snow and a long effective edge that ensures smoothness at high speeds on groomed runs.
Rocker
Powder Rocker 20/65/15 - with 20% rocker at the tip, 65% camber under foot and 15% rocker at the tail, the steering is easy and floatation is good, but a larger amount of camber compared to it's wider counterparts improves the grip on had pack for better all mountain versatility.
Core
Atomic's Light Woodcore uses poplar to optimise the skis weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability.
Construction
Dura Cap Sidewall uses a sidewall from base to top sheet for controlled power transmission and great edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dura Cap is a fantastic durability feature as it picks up fewer dents and dings.
Key Features
Bent HRZN 3D
Bent HRZN 3D is a ski technology that combines a three-dimensional tip with a beveled edge to enhance your performance on the slopes. Whether you are gliding on fresh powder or carving on groomed trails, Bent HRZN 3D gives you more surface area, more stability, and more fun. The Bent family of skis features the most dynamic HRZN 3D design, with a full wrap tip and tail that lets you ski with more agility and playfulness.
Resist Edge Park
Increased damage resistance of the metal edge, means they can withstand the stresses and impacts that come with skiing in the terrain park for improved durability.
