Whether you're cruising down the slopes or taking it easy, this ski effortlessly delivers versatility, one day you're nailing park tricks, the next you're blasting around your favourite runs. It's super stable and wide enough to handle fresh snow yet maintains that playful feeling you want from a park ski. You also can’t ignore the cool aphro-surrealistic graphics by David Alabo that make these skis truly stand out. But it's not just about looks, the new and innovative w3Dgewall technology strengthens the bond between the core and sidewall, resulting in a more durable ski with improved edge grip and reduced weight; the Poplar Core ensures enhanced edge hold and pop for an incredible ride. Get ready for an exceptional blend of fun, stability, and performance with unique style.

Terrain Type & Ability Level

Terrain Type
They provide solid handling in the park for lapping the kicker and rail lines, but with a 94mm waist, there's enough float and stability to go and explore off the beaten track for some turns in deeper snow, to find that natural jib you've been dreaming of. Blasting around in slush is a dream too, because let's be honest, warm slushy spring laps are the most fun.

Skier Type
Freestyle skiers who want to go everywhere on the mountain. The width boosts float as well as stability. The flex keeps things playful but is easily stiff enough for high-speed turns on pistes and going full-gas through chopped snow.

Overview

Shape
The 94mm waist size is perfect for a bunch of different conditions, it's wide enough to keep you floating and feeling solid in the fluffy, deeper snow, but still slim enough to handle those hard-packed conditions. And the 16.5m radius (171cm) is just right for a ski like this – it strikes a balance between stability and turning so that it feels awesome no matter where you ride.

Rocker
AR Freestyle Rocker uses rockered tips and tails combined with positive camber under foot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so. Turn the whole mountain into your playground.

Core
Armada's poplar core, ensures stability and control in any snow. Lightweight and versatile, it's the perfect partner for smooth tricks and quick maneuvers on all terrains.

Construction
The w3Dgewall is a radical ski design, featuring a 3D molded sidewall with an angled connection to the wood core for increased strength. This innovative construction enhances durability, reduces weight, and improves edge grip, making it a game-changer in ski design.

Key Features

W3dgewall
The w3Dgewall represents a revolutionary approach to ski design. The team of engineers embarked on a mission to conceive a unique concept aimed at crafting the most robust and high-performing construction in Armada's history. The W3Dgewall is characterized by its 3D molded, injected sidewall, strategically angled at its junction with the wood core. This ingenious design results in a mechanical bond within the ski mold during production, ensuring a more resilient and consistent connection between the sidewall and core. By incorporating additional material in critical areas to enhance durability and introducing a three-dimensional taper in the tip and tail, the w3Dgewall produces skis capable of withstanding increased abuse while delivering superior edge grip at reduced weights.

S7 Base
The perfect blend of durability and speed.

2.5 Impact Edge
Oversized and specially heat treated, this edge is built to resist impact damage in the most demanding situations.

EB tester’s comments: Joe (Covent Garden) One ski to do it all, perfect mix of poppy fun and surprising edge grip when blasting the mountain; handles very well in slushy snow and powder without being a truly wide off-piste ski.
