Overview

The North Face made the Women's Summit Mountain GORE-TEX Pro Bib for mountaineering in challenging winter conditions. Using 80-denier recycled nylon and Spectra ripstop reinforcements on the high-wear areas, they provide long-lasting durability and abrasion resistance, while a GORE-TEX Pro 3-layer membrane provides top-level protection against wind, rain, and snow.

Features

GORE-TEX Pro waterproof protection

Designed to give the highest level of weather protection, the GORE-TEX Pro 3-layer membrane is durably waterproof, totally windproof, and reliably breathable.

Adjustable braces

With front adjusters and a fixed X-shape back, the braces provide a comfortable, supportive fit and keep the bib trousers in place.

Front bib pocket

Use the zipped stash pocket on the front bib for gear you want to keep secure and within easy reach.

Side zips

Full-length two-way side zips undo from the top or bottom. They make the trousers easier to don, enable drop seat functionality, and double as vents.

Hidden gear loop

An internal gear loop in the right thigh pocket keeps essential alpine tools safely tethered, preventing accidental drops on ascents.

Internal gaiter

The internal elasticated gaiter stops snow and loose debris from building up around your ankle and getting into your footwear; a hook-and-loop closure ensures a close fit.
