Rab made the Men's Latok GORE-TEX Jacket for winter mountaineering. It combines a burly, abrasion-resistant 80-denier outer with a GORE-TEX Pro ePE 3-layer membrane for maximum waterproof, windproof protection. The helmet-compatible Ascent hood and high collar provide a close and secure fit, reducing the impact of heavy rain and spindrift.

GORE-TEX Pro ePE waterproof protection

The GORE-TEX Pro expanded polyethylene (ePE) membrane is completely PFAS-free. Providing the highest level of weather protection, it's durably waterproof, totally windproof, and reliably breathable.

Helmet compatible Ascent hood

Sized to fit a climbing helmet, Rab's Ascent hood protects without obstructing your field of vision. Adjusters at the front, crown, and collar enable a close and comfortable fit.

Two-way front zip

Undo the water-repellent AquaGuard zip from the bottom to increase ventilation, provide clear access to your harness belay loop, or improve comfort when you sit down.

Harness compatible chest pockets

Positioned out of the way of a harness or backpack hip belt, these water-repellent AquaGuard zipped pockets keep your small items secure and accessible.

Internal drop pocket

An internal drop pocket makes a great place to store things quickly and keep them close to the body, such as gloves.

Embedded RECCO reflector

A RECCO reflector is a lightweight, passive reflector that makes you searchable to rescuers in the event of an emergency.
