Features

GORE-TEX ePE waterproof protection

The GORE-TEX expanded polyethylene (ePE) membrane is completely PFAS-free. It gives waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection from the elements.

Helmet compatible hood

The Crater IV's hood with a laminated brim is shaped for an optimal fit over a climbing helmet. You can adjust the hood at the rear to keep it secure when worn without one.

Two-way front zip

You can unzip the jacket from the bottom to increase ventilation, provide clear access to your harness belay loop, or improve comfort when you sit down.

Harness compatible hand pockets

Zipped hand pockets provide a secure place for your essentials. Their high placement keeps them out of the way of a harness or pack hip belt.

Pit zips

These zipped vents, positioned to minimise sacrifice to waterproof protection, allow you to dump excess body heat and reduce perspiration.
