Go the distance for World Ranger Day for a chance to win

THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED - Check out the winners below
Did you know that park rangers can cover between 15-20km each day during their patrols to preserve and protect wildlife?
To celebrate World Ranger Day, 31st July and to highlight the immense distances these rangers cover on a daily basis, Ellis Brigham is committing to donating 5% of net profits from the sale of all Merrell footwear products to Save the Rhino International (Registered Charity Number 1035072) throughout August 2020.
As well as this, we are also giving you the chance to win a £50 Ellis Brigham voucher and a pair of Merrell walking shoes every week this August!*
We challenge you to put yourselves in the shoes of a ranger!
Winners:
Week 1 - @gillymmc1 |
Week 2 - @oceanrise1 |
Week 3 - @bicknell1485 |
Week 4 - @nadia_kottegoda |
The ForRangers Ultra, a partnership between ForRangers, Save the Rhino and Beyond the Ultimate, is a 220km foot-race through five Kenyan wildlife conservancies. Participants run through open savannah among rhinos, elephants and a wealth of other East African wildlife.
The event is held annually to raise awareness and much-needed funding for the brave rangers who stand guard over Africa's remaining giants. Sadly, the 2020 event had to be postponed due to Covid-19, but a double-race has been planned for next year in September 2021.
Keep an eye out for a virtual ultra taking place between 16-20 September 2020 and a documentary film about the event a few days later.
