Arc'teryx designed the Men's Nuclei SV Parka for winter climbing in challenging conditions. The warmest synthetic insulated belay jacket in their range, it's filled with Coreloft Continuous for warmth that's unaffected by moisture. Protected by Hadron Liquid Crystal Polymer with an acrylic coating, the windproof fabric is exceptionally abrasion- and water-resistant.

Hadron Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) fabric

The Hadron LCP face fabric is ultra-light and ultra-durable. It is made by weaving a liquid crystal polymer into already durable ripstop nylon, creating incredible abrasion resistance.

Coreloft Continuous synthetic insulation

Arc'teryx's Coreloft Continuous synthetic insulation delivers lightweight, breathable warmth, and it retains its insulating properties even when wet.

Helmet compatible StormHood

Arc'teryx's StormHood, sized to fit a climbing helmet, provides protection without obstructing your field of vision. It can be adjusted at the rear and cinched around the face.

Two-way front zip

You can unzip the jacket from the bottom to increase ventilation, provide clear access to your harness belay loop, or improve comfort when you sit down.

Zipped chest pocket

The zipped chest pocket is harness compatible, allowing easy access to items like your phone.

Internal drop pockets

Two large, internal drop pockets make it easy to stash items fast and keep them close to the body, such as gloves.
