Its balance and easy performance will have you carving up the slopes whatever the snow and encouraging you to explore beyond the piste markers. So, if you value perfect handling in all conditions, the Rossignol Experience 82 Basalt is your ticket to unforgettable adventures.

Terrain Type & Ability Level

Terrain Type
They offer precision and stability for high-speed carving and their narrower profile compared to the wider 86 version enhances agility and responsiveness, making them a fantastic choice for confident skiers looking to conquer the pistes with style and control no matter what the conditions, maybe with some side-piste adventures too.

Skier Type
Designed for intermediate and lighter-weight advanced skiers, it's set to be a go-to, whether you're cruising down the main runs or venturing off-piste into the trees. It's forgiving and has an infectious sense of fun, encouraging you to improve your skills and explore all the easily accessible terrain.

Overview

Shape
This ski blends classic piste shaping, which includes a deep sidecut into the tip for outstanding edge hold and a medium to short turn radius for traditional piste agility and responsiveness thanks to its All Trail Sidecut. However, it incorporates a stable 82mm waist and some additional rocker for complete stability on both freshly groomed and choppy runs.

Rocker
All Trail Rocker, both tip and tail rocker that's been adapted for every terrain and snow condition, delivering a balanced blend of hard snow precision and soft snow playfulness.

Core
The paulownia wood core significantly reduces weight by up to 30%, leading to improved agility, manoeuvrability, and control. Additionally, the incorporation of basalt fibers, which are both stronger and lighter than fiberglass and possess greater elasticity than carbon, contributes to heightened power, stability, and vibration reduction in the ski core. Stronger and lighter than fiberglass and with more elasticity than carbon, BASALT fibers enhance power and stability while removing vibrations.

Construction
Rectangular Full Sidewall - a 90 degree full sidewall construction features a horizontal layering of core materials. This design delivers optimized edge grip, precision, balance, and power.

Key Features

Drive Tip Solution

Premium Hardtop
The Premium Hardtop is a a ultra hardwearing topsheet designed to provide exceptional durability, ensuring the protection and longevity of your skis.

EB tester’s comments: Alex (Milton Keynes) Intermediate to advanced skier mainly staying on piste but dabbling with the sides as well. Light, nimble, fun all-mountain ski to help you see more of the mountain.
