Red
Red, formerly known as Red Paddle Co, is the world’s leading premium inflatable paddleboard brand.
For over a decade, they have been helping outdoor enthusiasts find adventure and fun. From seeking out the best places to paddle, to providing advice on the best boards and accessories, paddleboarders are at the heart of their community.
Red are obsessive about quality. They’re the only inflatable SUP brand that makes boards in its own private facility, using innovative materials and pioneering designs.
The liberating thing about Red inflatable boards is how easy they are to travel with. Whether you’re driving to the coast, or flying across the world, all Red boards deflate and pack away, so they’re super easy to transport. They only take a few minutes to pump up, and then you’re free to explore your world!
TECHNOLOGY
Unlike other paddleboard companies out there, Red never compromise on quality and innovation. They’ve taken standard inflatable technology and redesigned almost every aspect of it to deliver a truly outstanding board. Red test each board rigorously to make sure it performs when you need it to most (they even ran over one of their boards with a digger…it survived!).
SUSTAINABILITY
From the very beginning, Red’s company ethos has been to ‘never compromise’ when it comes to the performance of their inflatable paddleboards. As time has moved on, that message and determination has expanded into other vital areas of the company, such as the safety of paddlers, the reliability of products and a duty to protect the future of our planet.
HISTORY
Red was founded in 2008 by John Hibbard, an ex-professional windsurfer. John quickly noticed a gap in the market for an alternative board that wasn’t cumbersome and heavy – and that’s when Red was born. Ever since, John has been on a mission to produce the very best inflatable paddleboards on the market and to continue growing the SUP community.
SAFETY
Red are passionate about safety. By producing the very best, most durable and reliable inflatable paddleboards on the market so you can paddle with confidence knowing your board isn’t going to let you or your family down. It then takes Red 72 hours to make each individual board – that’s ten times longer than the industry average.
