Natalie Jordan-Rogers
I had my first climbing trip abroad in 2023, to Fontainebleau, and that was an amazing experience. It was a last-minute trip and I only had one problem in mind, La Marie Rose, one of the first established 6a's in the forest. It was my first tick of the trip and what a humbling experience that was, I shed a tear. My biggest trip achievement had to be Magic Bus 7B+, a short but powerful line. 4.5 days of climbing, 7 crags visited and 8 ticks, lots of problems tried and so much to go back for. For me climbing is not just a sport, it's not just a hobby, it is a lifetime of wonderful opportunities, I look back on old videos and I see how far I have come, from winning comps to enjoying the mileage and now all I want is to climb super hard boulders and get myself back into sport climbing. I have a long list of projects lined up and cannot wait to see what the future holds. |
