Joseph Fischer a trained wagon maker and started Fischer Ski Company in 1924. Despite a difficult start to the company he continued with it and poured all his energy into making skis - his determination and work ethos was adopted by his children who went onto build on this legacy.
By the 1970’s Fischer skis had won gold at the Olympics, were the biggest ski factory in the world and had acquired Kästle and Dynafit. They maintained this high standard over the next few decades leading the way in Alpine/Nordic technology and design.
2014 Winter Olympics and Fischer Skis, boots and poles dominate the Nordic/Alpine medal table. Utilising a unique Vacuum Comfort Fit shell and liner system Fischer have brought unrivalled comfort to their race winning performance.
