HOKA was born out of a desire to improve endurance race times by bettering downhill performance. The result was a revolutionary trail running shoe design that looked like no other but also performed like no other.

Not only had the founders developed a shoe that worked well on descents but it also excelled across varied terrain, helping professionals and amateurs alike.

The shoes feature a heavily cushioned midsole with a rocker profile that complements a normal gait and drives you forward. The active foot frame positions your foot in the midsole rather than on top for support and guidance, keeping you surefooted as you speed downhill.
