HISTORY

Rab Carrington started out making sleeping bags and clothing from this attic. Demand, from his close-knit climbing community, quickly outgrew what he could put together and he moved to a factory in Sheffield where his reputation for building fuss-free, hard-wearing kit escalated into the brand we know, love and can rely on today.

Sleeping bags are where we made our name. To this day, we hand-fill our down insulated sleeping bags at our factory in Derbyshire, UK. So, by the time one of our bags reach you, it has never been compressed or stored in a way which could be harmful to the down inside, ensuring pinnacle performance.
