Rehna is a youth and community worker and outdoor instructor based in Greater Manchester. She uses the outdoors as her main tool of engagement with young people and the wider community, facilitating the best outdoor experiences to widen horizons and show people that there is so much out there for them to achieve and experience. Rehna is the first to admit that she wasn't always into the outdoors, coming from a South Asian background, it isn't really the norm or part of their culture and for that reason it wasn't until her teens that she engaged in the outdoors - since then she has been hooked. Fast forward 10 years and she now holds outdoor qualifications which allow her to give opportunities to other people just like herself; getting more people out from diverse backgrounds, particularly women is her main goal. Rehna believes young people are the future so helping shape them using the outdoors - creating resilient, courageous and happy young people is the dream.
