    Waterproof enough

    Shauna 19/11/2014

As a commuter cyclist, I need a waterproof rucksack for year round, all-weather cycling. I have tested this one now for about a month in some fairly horrible weather. It's not technically water proof but it has kept my stuff dry through some very heavy rain. The seams don't seem to leak though a bit of wet does get through at the zips if they aren't positioned just right. The bag looks good and there's a handy mounting point on the lower back for your rear cycling light. Areas to be improved: the laptop insert in the main bag area reduces the overall capacity and get in the way (if you don't carry a laptop), there are no reflective strips, and for a bag of this capacity it does seem small. I would opt for the standard version rather than the women's specific if you carry a lot of stuff. For size reference, at a push (for those out shopping after work) you can squeeze in an adult shoe box and cram in a change of clothing (but only just). It's a good bag over-all but it does seem small for it's size.
