A really great tent for small group use
A really great tent for small group use. It can be pitched by one person with a well ventilated porch area. It has big doors at the front and one at the rear which work well in poor condition like the VE 25. The mesh storage compartments are good and fit for purpose. The head room is spot on while keeping the semi geo shape. Used in 55mph winds and was stable. If pitched correctly, there is no issues with "water traps" on the canopy but you can expect some condensation in the porch if the ground is not covered (but leaving a slight venting gap in the closure solves this). If you want a tent for a week's base use, it's spot on.
Fair weather camping
Some good points and some bad.
Good points: Very roomy and easy to pitch.
Bad points. No footprint available and no groundsheet in the porch, door mat is neither use or orniment.
In bad weather, pooling occurs due to the pole configureation and the zips to the porch leak, which is less of a concern as it can drip on the ground in the porch (due to no footprint)
