    Slash Aurora 14/15 Snowboard

The all new Aurora is a high performance all terrain board that is aimed at the most advanced riders. Designed to deliver a class leading ride across a wide variety of disciplines, this truly stunning board that will challenge what's become the norm in top end snowboards. Built around a directional twin platform it utilises the all new twin camber shape. This places separate camber profiles running from the nose to the centre and from the tail to the centre and works in harmony with the advanced Redline sidecut which is designed specifically to work with the two independent camber zones. The mellow radius at the front gives a really stable ride for tracking into big jumps, whilst the tighter radius at the rear gives a more powerful feel increasing control and response at the back end. Internally the new lightweight paulownia and poplar core with knockout 3D profiling creates two different flex zones at the front and rear of the board and is perfectly matched with the Reactive Flex glass structural layers to delivers the perfect ride. Finally the Carbon, Kevlar and Basalt Buried Treasure give a more powerful flex at the tip and tail whilst increasing pop through the length. Finally the 9900 sintered base is one of the fastest bases available.

    Solid all mountain board

    Adam 28/03/2016

Definitely not a board for everyone but suits my riding style perfectly. Stable at high speeds and will hold an edge forever even on the worst icy patches. I've ridden this board in all conditions/ terrain and it carves great on piste and in powder, by far the most responsive board I've ever ridden. Only negative was it's performance on choppy/ uneven terrain, you have to work especially hard, particularly on packed powder or pistes that have been demolished. Surprisingly better than expected for jibbing but it's not a park/jib board and it's not forgiving. If you're an advanced rider and want a board that will push you and deliver on performance then I’d highly recommend it!

    Excellent carving board

    Munna 25/02/2015

I used to ride a 163 Burton Johan and I am a fan of camber for piste carving. I fancied a new board but the choice was quite small if I wanted stiffness and camber. I rode this (158) for a week on groomed slopes in Courcheval. It was precise, didn't waver and allowed me to commit at speed to both toe and heelside carves. Excellent for piste carving at speed.
