    Rossignol Men's Experience 84 HD Skis + NX 12 Konect Dual WTR Ski Bindings 2016 / 2017

Our overall Ski-of-the-Year. The Experience 84 is famous for its all mountain prowess. The silky smooth handling and all round ability makes skiers' confidence go sky high. A huge performance bracket sees intermediate to advanced skiers love it. Now it comes finely tuned with an HD Carbon Alloy laminate that adds another level of feedback, energy and pop, turning what was a great ski into an exceptional one.

Tester's comments: Luke (Chester) The HD technology allows this year's model to be more powerful, better at higher speeds and more lively without losing any ease of use.

    Experience Revisited

    Silver 09/10/2016

I had a go of these narrow wasted and wide shovel skis yesterday at The Indoor slope at Hemmel Hempstead. This is not the best place to test skis as its hard to get the feel of a new ski in 50 Metres. But I have used this model ski a couple of years ago and found it pretty good again. This years model has a bit more techno wizzardry, but I'm not the Lewis Hamilton of skis so all the techno wibble is a bit lost on me. I tried these skis four times up and down the slope and each time they got better or should I say I got better at using them. I would put this ski well up my shopping list if I was in the market for a true all-rounder. I'm not the sort of skier is super found of what we used to call "Fat Boy" skis. I think they are really for the occasions when you get a helicopter to the champaign powder.
