No matter who you are, or what you ride, sometimes there's nothing quite like just sending it. And that's exactly why Haldor and Eiki created the Sender. Even though they are best known for their freestyle riding, like anyone else they still love hitting the back country, charging groomers and just blasting around the mountain, so to them it was a no-brainer to build a board for doing that.
As the most all terrain friendly board in the Lobster range, the Sender is the perfect choice for anyone who just wants to hit up everything on the mountain. Built around a twinish shape it delivers the perfect balance of freestyle feel and all-terrain versatility, so whether hitting the park or dropping lines you know that it will be able to deliver each and every time.
The key to the Senders ride everything versatility lies in its Twin 3BT base profile. This freestyle inspired 3D shape combines a mid wide flat centre base section with narrower 3BT side-base upturns at the nose and tail to deliver the ideal combination of park control, and thanks to the 3D nose shape, great float in the pow.
As with all 3BT boards the Sender utilises a traditional camber profile. This gives it a solid and responsive ride and really does give you the confidence to push the board hard. Internally Lobster build the Sender around their responsive Reactor core. This poppy wood core combines poplar with beech stringers placed down each edge focusing strength and pop directly to the edges. This works in perfect harmony with that traditional camber profile giving a really stable and reassuring ride.
Not forgetting Lobsters freestyle roots, the structural layers are formed from a more playful Bi-Ax weave glass. This gives a torsionally softer ride ensuring that the Sender loses none of its park friendly feel. However, thanks to duel carbon stringers in the nose and tail you'll still get all the pop and drive you could ever need.
Finally, the high molecular weight Ultra Glide S base ensures that the Sender has all the speed to match its high-end build.
