TRAVIS RICE'S DAILY DRIVER
The T.Rice Pro condenses all of Lib-Techs know-how into a high performance all terrain charger that is at home everywhere on the mountain. Perfect for experienced riders who are looking for the ultimate in high-performance snowboarding, this unique board delivers a truly stunning ride no matter what or where you ride. Built around state of the art directional shape, its freeride credentials are in no doubt. However, thanks to the addition of the thin profile low swing weight blunt tip and tail, this is one board that's still got freestyle blood running through its veins. It's that mix of freestyle mobility combined with the ride everything performance that makes the T.Rice Pro one of the very best quiver killers on the market.
Experienced riders looking for a high performance all terrain board that rides everything and everywhere.
The T.Rice Pro's all-terrain shape combines the most up to date thinking from both freeride and freestyle boards to deliver the ultimate in ride everything versatility. Built around a fully directional platform, it offers the perfect balance of drive and float. However, the lightweight Blunt nose profile cuts the boards swing weight right back creating a more freestyle balanced feel to the board. Now to ensure that the T.Rice Pro rips on the piste, it utilises Lib-Techs state of the art Magne Traction sidecut. This innovative sidecut features seven strategically located edge serrations along the length. These add extra traction points to the edges ensuring that you get unrivalled edge hold and control.
As this board is all about versatility, Lib-Tech fit it with their C2 hybrid Rocker/Camber profile. This places mild rocker between your feet with powerful cambers to the tips and tails. This delivers the perfect balance of power, pop and precision while enhancing float in deep pow. Also, those aggressive cambers work in perfect harmony with the Magna Traction sidecut to give a stable and confidence inspiring feeling through the turn.
Internally the T.Rice Pro utilises Lib-Techs Horsepower construction. Heading this up is the state of the art Aspen/Paulownia HP core. This super light wood core increases the % of lightweight Paulownia compared to other cores in the line reducing the overall board weight substantially. However, thanks to the addition of Birch rails running parallel to the edges, Lib-Tech minimise the impact of having a higher % of lighter wood by directly adding power into the sidecut. Weight is also shaved from both the nose and tail via the HP thin tip construction, this reduces swing weight and gives the board more of a balanced feel. The addition of Basalt stringers integrated into the tri-ax and bi-ax glass structural layers also add an extra dimension to the flex ensuring that even though the T.Rice Pro is light, it never feels compromised when out on the mountain.
The low maintenance environmentally friendly reconstituted Eco Sublimated TNT base combines the very best features of traditional sintered and extruded bases into one low maintenance but fast sintered base.
