Experienced riders who are looking for a versatile all-terrain board that delivers stunning performance across the whole mountain.
Although it's classed as a directional twin, it wouldn't be too amiss to describe the Attack Banana's shape as more of a freeride directional twin. With its distinctive nose shape, it's clear that this boards heart lies in blasting around the mountain. However, when you want to play around in the park or spin and jump off hits, it's still got all the balance that you could ever need. Now to ensure that the Attack Banana rips on the piste, it utilises Lib-Techs state of the art Magne Traction. This innovative sidecut features seven strategically located edge serrations along the length. These add extra traction points to the edges ensuring that you get unrivalled edge hold and control.
As this board is all about versatility, Lib-Tech fit it with their C2 hybrid Rocker/Camber profile. This places mild rocker between your feet with powerful cambers to the tip and tail. This delivers the perfect balance of power, pop and precision while enhancing float in deep pow. Also, those aggressive cambers work in perfect harmony with the Magna Traction sidecut to give a stable and confidence inspiring feeling through the turn.
Internally, the Attack Banana utilises Lib-Techs high-end Horsepower construction. Heading this up is the state is the art HP core. Combining aspen and paulownia reinforced with Birch rails running parallel to the sidecut, this responsive and lively core delivers the perfect balance of pop, power and light weight. This is then reinforced with structural layers formed from a combination of bi-ax and tri-ax glass. This combination of glass types allows the designers to control the flex through the length and the torsional flex independently, delivering the optimum performance for each kind of board. These structural layers are then further enhanced with the addition of Basalt stringers integrated into the glass. These add an extra dimension to the flex ensuring that even though the Attack Banana is light, its performance never feels compromised when out on the mountain.
