The Brewster is a new addition to the DWD range for this season and is aimed at riders who are looking for a playful board that combines a freestyle orientated ride with a go anywhere ride anything versatility.
Sharing the same mid-wide platform as the highly acclaimed Maet, DWD has stepped up the performance another notch and have created a playful yet responsive board for those riders who are looking for a bit more performance and a bit more power. Built around a balanced twin chassis its extra width gives you more stability under the feet ensuring that not only do you get that balanced feel but you also get a really solid, stable and predictable overall ride.
Although the Brewster classes itself as more of a freestyle board, the truth is that it's a lot more versatile than that. Thanks to its low-rise traditional camber and upgraded construction, it also delivers great performance when cruising the mountain, so if you're one of those freestyle riders that doesn't want to get tied to the park then this really should be on your shopping list.
Internally DWD has utilised the same great construction that it uses on its pro models, so you can be confident that it's going to perform at the highest level. Heading this up is the lightweight yet lively wood core. This is constructed from a combination of durable poplar reinforced with birch strangers running tip to tail. This delivers the perfect balance of playful ride but with that extra bit of pop and power that you need when you want to step it up a level. To ensure that the Brewster can take everything in its stride DWD creates the structural layers from torsionally responsive Tri-Ax glass. This not only gives the board more stability but it also steps up response and control on the edge and gives it its superb all terrain performance.
To finish off this superb versatile board DWD use a high-quality sintered base. This not only gives a faster glide but it also steps up durability.
