If there's another board out there that defines the word all-terrain better than the Goliath, we're yet to see it. This iconic ride anything and ride anywhere board has become the bedrock for the Bataleon range.
Its ability to be all things to all men has made it one of the best selling boards available. With its powerful all terrain chassis and playful tip and tail, the Goliath ensures that whether charging the piste, lapping the park or dropping powder lines you'll have all the performance that you could ever need no matter how experienced you are.
Built around what you would call a twinish' shape, Bataleon add an extra bit of volume in the nose to give the board additional float without effecting the overall balanced feel that the more freestyle focused rider looks for.
Now what makes the Goliath so versatile and gives it such great performance is its combination of traditional camber and the innovative 3BT base profile. The dynamic camber delivers probably the most responsive ride in its class whilst the freestyle 3BT profile, which combines identically sized 3BT upturns with an equally sized centre base section in both the nose and tail, gives the ideal balance of improved edge response and that more playful floaty ride that is the hallmark of Triple base.
Internally the Goliath's high end construction perfectly matches its performance aspirations. Heading this up is the high quality Reactor core. This full length poplar wood core adds beech stringers running tip to tail along both edges. This fortifies the board's sidewalls as well as generating increased edge hold and adding extra pop along the edges. Match this with Carbon/Kevlar reinforced Tri-Ax glass structural layers which step up torsional flex and add more power through the length, and it's pretty obvious that the Goliath has all the power, control and response that you could ever need.
Finally the high-end sintered base gives great wax absorption for a faster glide and improved durability.
