This runner-up in our Women's Ski-of-the-Year award was a very pleasant surprise on testing, so much so that all the guys wanted a run to see what the fuss was about. It's a full-on performance piste ski, no corners cut. The narrow waist ensures quick edge changes, the short radius provides fast turns and razor sharp handling. The minimal amount of rocker means almost maximum camber and, together with the full sidewalls, delivers grip, precision and response. Fun and easier to use than you might imagine!
Abbi (Tamworth) Stiff underfoot but a lightness in the tip and tail make it responsive but not too heavy.
Chloe (Braehead) Lively and responsive but extremely enjoyable and fun. It's stiff underfoot and soft in the tip, great edge hold and easy to initiate turns.
Andi (Bristol) There's nothing fluffy about this new, serious high-end piste carver for performance focused lady skiers. Great at top speed.

Ski of the Year Runner Up, 2015/16
Product testing is an individual thing and each skier seeks different characteristics from the ski, asking and demanding that the tested model delivers various responses. The results are often as anticipated and skis will do all that is expected. Maybe not in precisely the way the tester prefers but these individualities make models unique and appealing. But what is it that makes a special ski? The ones that really stand out go beyond the areas where they are anticipated to excel; they perform in terrain and conditions past what they were designed for or possibly appeal to more than just their target audience. Skis like these are the award winners.
