Peter Speight

Peter has been skiing since he was 4 years old and it has become an increasingly big part of his life ever since he first tried freestyle on dryslope at the Sheffield Ski Village when he was 12.

As well as studying at university he now competes full time in halfpipe and is a member of the British Half Pipe Team. When he's not training in the halfpipe he loves to push all areas of his skiing whether he is in the terrain park, backcountry or on the piste whilst trying to film and travel as much as possible.

After getting over a serious knee injury he came back stronger than ever and came 4th in the halfpipe world cup in China, placed 15th in halfpipe at the 2018 Winter Olympics and placed 17th in the Tignes World Cup finals. In the future he hopes to compete in major invitational contests such as X Games and Dew Tour.
