Whether you’re just starting out or already flashing 7as, our guide to climbing courses provides all the info you need to help push your climbing to the next level.

Often one of the best ways to start climbing and improve your technique is at an indoor climbing gym. Climbing gyms have been sprouting up all across the UK over the last few years, gaining popularity with beginners and first-timers due to ease of access. Gyms such as Manchester Climbing Centre and The Climbing Academy in Bristol and Glasgow are ideal for when the weather's wet or just a bit of training.

Outdoor climbing is where it all started and there really is nothing like scaling a sheer piece of rock, fighting the ever imposing vertigo and the achievement of topping out. Outdoor training centres such as Glenmore Lodge in Aviemore are in a prime location to access some of the best 'real rock' climbing in the UK.
