Black Diamond Jetforce Recall

Black Diamond have issued a voluntary product recall on all Jetforce Avalanche Airbags to carry out a firmware update.

In rare cases a system malfunction has caused the airbag to fail to deploy or shutdown involuntarily. The firmware update will resolve this.

The recall affects all Black Diamond Jetforce packs sold between November 2014 and July 2015, including the Halo Avalanche Airbag stocked by Ellis Brigham. The affected products can be identified by a label on the inside of the front pocket. All packs bearing codes from 4275 to 5077 should be returned to Black Diamond.

Please note that any future stock will have received this firmware update.

Full details can be found on the Black Diamond Recall Site or you can head straight to the recall process.
